Uprock Release Details for 2017 Summit

Uprock Christian hip-hop summit returns to Sydney this year with a whole host of international and local visitors. Featuring Jesus Peace, the Gospel Graffiti Crew and Bboy Enoch, this is another installment that shouldn’t be missed

Returning to Sydney after being in Brisbane last year, Uprock has continued to deliver the goods with another bevvy of international artists representing a host of the different elements of hip-hop. The event is centered around the Krosswerdz Hip-Hop ministry and community. It provides an opportunity for fans of hip-hop culture from around the country to fellowship together.

Friday and Saturday days are workshops featuring all elements of hip-hop: MC’ing and lyricism, DJ’ing and production, breakdancing and graffiti. In a change from previous years, Friday night will be a Krosswerdz Service instead of a concert, featuring hip-hop Praise & Worship, a couple of brief performances, a testimony, an interview, a message and then a cypher at the end.

Saturday night is a concert, featuring Jesus Peace, BRB, Izzy and others who are to be confirmed.

Sunday, the event concludes with the Church In The Park and Uprock Park Jam at Wiley Park. It has an event atmosphere with Bboy and MC battles as well as live graffiti.
